American Girl Birthday Party

When my daughter came to me and said she wanted to have an American Girl birthday party, we scoured the internet to come up with festive party decorations, and games.
We settled on the color theme of turquoise, hot pink, and emerald green. We decided we wanted to make tutus and tank tops at the party!
My daughter and I spent the week making party favors for the girls.
American Girl Accessories
Doll-sized party hats for each American Girl. These were made with scrapbook paper, pom poms, hot glue, and thin elastic.
Doll-sized cupcakes made from spackle! Yes, Spackle!
Pink lemonade for all the girls. These were made from faux acrylic water tinted with red food coloring, and a multi-colored straw.
Doll sandals made from craft foam, ribbon, and elastic.
Doll-sized laminated placemat made from scrapbook paper.
These are the party favors that each girl received to take home.
Party Decorations
Balloons suspended from the ceiling!
Pom pom centerpiece
Table runners made from gift wrap
Tulle hanging from the chandelier
Tissue paper pom poms
Cupcakes and pinwheels
Crafts and Games
Each girl received enough tulle to make one tutu and one tank top.
We played American Girl word search.
The big hit of the party was the American Girl bingo. They had so much fun!
After all the crafts and games, the dolls were treated to their very own party!
Feel free to comment below with any questions! I would love to see some pictures from your very own American Girl party! My daughter even sold many of these items on her own Etsy Shop called
Caroline's Dollhouse (which has since closed down now that she's all grown up).

My husband and I were in dire need of a new coffee table. We'd been using a $35 coffee table from Walmart that was entirely too small for our couch. I had a very specific look in mind & didn't want to break the bank. So we took on the adventurous feat of DIYing it. It only took us three trips to Lowe's and almost quitting five times, but in the end, it turned out great. We spent about $150 on the whole project.
